Fascias, soffits and guttering in Lancing, Worthing and Shoreham that last.
Rotten timber fascias and soffits replaced with maintenance-free uPVC, new guttering and downpipes hung to the right fall, and dormers finished neatly. The tidy edge to a good roof.

The roofline on a Lancing or Worthing house protects the rest.
Fascias carry the gutters and close off the ends of the rafters. Soffits stop birds and weather getting into the roof space. When they rot, water runs behind them, the gutters sag and the rafter ends start to go too.
S&K replaces tired timber with uPVC fascia, soffit and trims that never need painting, fits new gutters and downpipes to a proper fall, and adds ventilation where the loft needs it. It is often done at the same time as a re-roof, but works just as well as a stand-alone job.
- Full replacement or overcapping of fascias and soffits
- uPVC in white, black, anthracite and woodgrain
- New half-round, square or deep-flow guttering
- Downpipes, gulleys and overflow sorted
- Bird combs and roof space ventilation
- Gutters cleared, re-hung and re-sealed
When the roofline needs doing.
Peeling paint and soft timber
Once fascia board has gone soft it is holding water against the roof, not keeping it off.
Overflowing gutters
Sagging, blocked or wrongly pitched gutters tip water down the wall and into the footings.
Green stains on the wall
Algae under the gutter line means it has been leaking for a long time.
Birds in the loft
Gaps at the soffit are an open door. New soffit and bird comb closes it.

Should I overcap or replace fascias?
Overcapping puts new uPVC over the old timber and is cheaper, but it only works if the timber underneath is still sound. If it is rotten it should be replaced. Simon checks and tells you which.
Can you replace guttering on its own?
Yes. New guttering and downpipes, or clearing and re-hanging what is there, is a quick stand-alone job across Lancing, Worthing and Shoreham-by-Sea.
Do you do the fascias as part of a re-roof?
Usually yes. With the tiles off and the scaffold up it is the ideal time, and it means the whole roofline is done together and guaranteed together.
How long does the roofline take?
Most houses are done in one to two days, including taking the old boards away.
